The native language for grindvoll.com is Norwegian. The purpose of the web site is to share pictures and stories about an old, rural railway station north of Oslo – the «Grindvoll» station. Grindvoll is a typical example of a small station that was built to serve the local community in the best way.

The station was closed down in 1975.
